Silent Auction

The PACB Foundation was organized in 1994 to provide funds for the advancement of historical, charitable and educational endeavors. The Scholarship Program is the keystone of the Foundation’s educational mission and actively invests in the futures of worthy young people, some of whom may one day become community banking leaders. Since its inception, the PACB Foundation and its Scholarship Program have consistently grown in the total number of endowments, pledges, and contributions from both community banks and individuals. (The PACB Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under the Internal Revenue Code; donations are tax-deductible.)

Each year, the PACB Annual Convention features a Silent Auction and the proceeds from which directly and exclusively benefit the PACB Foundation Scholarship Program. Please consider making a donation for our upcoming Silent Auction to be held on Monday, September 15, 2008 during our 131st Annual Convention. Each year this Auction is well attended by Pennsylvania community bank presidents/CEOs, Board of Directors and their spouses. This is a group that continues to give back to each of their communities on a daily basis and knows the value of meaningful endeavors such as the Scholarship Program.

Some popular auction items include gift certificates, sports memorabilia, sport tickets, company products, golf outings, and handmade and “one-of-a-kind” items.

The PACB Foundation will publicly acknowledge all donations in the Auction program and on the PACB website. All donations will be listed on the PACB website as soon as received. In short, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to support your Foundation, while also investing in the futures of promising college-bound students.

See the list of donations to date.

Spouse Hospitality Suite

A representative from Antwerp Diamonds will be back to sell real and faux items. A portion of the proceeds from sales are graciously donated to the PACB Foundation. Back by popular demand will be nail painting and the book exchange. New this year are 10-minute chair massages.
