Terrie Cloud, SVP, ICI Consulting
Terrie Cloud has more than 29 years of experience in the financial services industry and is a Senior Vice President with ICI. Terrie works directly with financial institutions in managing ICI’s project management practice which provides end-to-end core and ancillary system project management services. Terrie also helps institutions with core processing evaluations, technology and strategic planning, vendor evaluations, workflow efficiency improvement recommendations and IT related compliance services to help financial institutions maximize their technology and operations investment dollars.

Terrie has a vast amount of experience in managing, consulting, and developing technology in the areas of financial services, brokerage, and banking. Terrie is a former banker, former core vendor executive and consultant. Terrie has used his expertise in such areas in managing project management practices to over 80 financial institutions as well as proving consulting services that include: technology planning, strategic planning, core and ancillary system
evaluations, workflow reviews, and regulatory technology compliance guidance.

Terrie holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Mathematics from St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, N.C. In his spare time, Terrie is an avid scuba-diver and also enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and Boxer-mix dog, boating, fishing, reading, camping, and gardening.

L. Cary Whaley, 1st VP Payment and Technology Policy, ICBA Bancard
Cary Whaley is first vice president of payments and technology policy for the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA). He represents the interests of more than 5,800 community banks of all sizes and charter types through effective advocacy in rule-making and regulatory issues. Whaley also serves as facilitator and staff secretary for ICBA’s Bank Operations and Payments Committee that identifies and addresses issues related to the online and mobile delivery of financial services and payments.

Whaley is a frequent industry speaker and serves on the board of directors of the X9 Accredited Standards Committee, NACHA’s Government Relations Advisory Group, and both the Federal Reserve’s Faster and Secure Payments Task Forces. 

Before joining ICBA in 2004, Whaley directed the Council for Electronic Billing and Payment at NACHA and has managed payment operations on the community bank level at The Fauquier Bank, in Warrenton, Virginia. He received a BA in history from Covenant College and is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP).

Jeff Berry, Director of Sales, Fitech Payments
Jeff works with Community Banks across the country helping them with their Merchant Services Program, through superior service and transparent pricing at all levels. Jeff works to assist banks in maximizing their merchant payments business and growing noninterest income. Fitech works only with community institutions and is committed to the growth and importance of community banks. Jeff looks to bring value to bank partners allowing them to offer the best possible service to their customers.

Carla Bifano, Enterprise New Sales Representative, Vantiv
Carla has extensive sales experience focusing primarily on Financial and Payment solutions. She is an articulate communicator skilled in new business development, focusing on key business drivers of the client while building long-term relationships with all levels of management. Ms. Bifano is efficient in managing complex sales cycle, creating new business strategies and solutions for successful partnerships. She also work in developing new target markets, delivering compelling board presentation and creating value add solutions.

Rob Casterline, Senior Product Specialist, Vantiv
Rob is the Senior Product Manager in the Financial Industries sector for Vantiv LLC. His focus is on growing Vantiv product offerings through product enhancement and new opportunity assessment and development.

Rob’s specialties include: Product Management, Channel Strategy, Change Management, Project Management, Vendor Management, Organizational Development, Technology Development, Procurement & Supply Chain processes.
