Membership to the PACB is by institution, however, it is the bankers who work within these banks that are the “heart and soul” of the Association.
PACB promotes a sense of family, community, friendship, networking and professionalism among the membership. The primary reason for being involved in the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers is our emphasis upon banking as a profession, not purely a business.
One of the enduring characteristics of community bankers is that their passion for banking extends far beyond the profit-making marketplace. They are committed to the financial and social betterment of their customers, neighbors and communities. Community bankers are involved where they live and work through personal financial commitment, volunteerism, economic development and non-profit service.
Clear voice for Legislative and Regulatory Affairs PACB is the only trade association in Pennsylvania that advocates exclusively for the community banking industry.
Having full-time staff dedicated to lobbying for your organizations specific needs keeps community banking at the top of your legislator’s priority list. PACB also provides Legislative Conference Calls/Updates that are designed to provide members with a snapshot of the relevant federal & state legislative issues, legal issues, and political updates and developments. With community banking facing many challenges it’s important that PACB keeps our members abreast of all that’s happening in Washington, D.C. and Harrisburg.
Forefront of Education PACB’s education and training programs are a significant value for members. PACB provides access to classroom sessions and webinars that are designed to provide timely, relevant and thought-provoking curriculum, delivered by industry experts in a relaxed, interactive learning environment. Hosting an average of 10 educational offering a month, there is no shortage of training available through our organization, enabling you and your staff to stay ahead of the curve.
